MindInscription.net is my personal website upgraded from the previous one : ChenxiMao.net. Both of two run on top of WordPress, but use different technologies such as the former one was built using the Artisteer RAD tool and the latter one was constructed with the help of a commercial WordPress theme called Thesis. This is to be the place where I am gonna upload more cool stuff about web design/development including tutorials and resources sharing. In a word, it’s a geeky blog, not just yet another hobby site.

The weird term “Mind Inscription” is named after the fact that ancient Chinese people used to engrave/carve characters on bamboo slips before paper was invented. It is used here as a metaphor for having the Word Wide Web to be the means of keeping people’s minds. Basically this is exactly what a blog is, isn’t it?

As for me personally, I am a junior web designer/developer live in Sydney, Australia at the moment. I love working in the IT industry and programming is sort of my second nature now. I also like to listen to music like Bon Jovi and LinkinPark. PC / Console games used to be my favorite but I can hardly find any more time for them, what a tragedy!
